History:

Orgrunt IronHoof- His name alone creates fear on the battlefield. His size is often compared to that of an Ogre. His axe can cut threw many men in one swing. The history of Orgrunt is practically known to all, since he is widely known. He was born from within his own clan and was brought up just as any Tauren would have. However his skills were way above that of the other Tauren. He quickly rose up (both in skill and in height) and became one of the top commanders in his clan. He was highly respected throughout the lands as a great leader, a fearsome warrior, and just as a guy you would never EVER want to piss off. These views of him came not only from his clan, but also from people of totally different races. However, he lost the respect of his clan sometime after being dubbed “Chieftain”, one of the highest ranks in the Tauren race. Orgrunt had a passion for war; it made him feel good. Orgrunt was at the time very patriotic of his land and people. He lived in the desolate area of Kalimdor, an area that was shared with other races such as humans, elves, and dwarves. Orgrunt believed that his people should not have to share land with these other races, and Orgrunt proposed to lead a force to clear out them out. The Council Elders rejected his proposal. They explained that “the Tauren race has always been a non-aggressive race; and that to attack other races, without good cause, would be against all that Tauren stood for”.

Orgrunt wasn’t convinced, at this time he knew nothing of the other races except by what they looked like, he just felt that they needed to be removed. Orgrunt then did what he would later regret; he rallied a small portion of his people and moved to the forest that lied north of them. There is where there was an elven village. Orgrunt led his forces and destroyed the entire village; they burnt every house they killed every elf that lived all men, women, and children. When word of this got out, the clan of Thunderhorne (which was Orgrunt’s clan) was blamed. The neighboring countries demanded that the clan must repay for their actions. The clan leaders explained the problem and that Orgrunt was to blame (Which he was). Orgrunt felt betrayed when his clan pointed the finger at him. Soon after the clan exiled him from the Thunderhorne clan as well as every clan. That is when Orgrunt lost his taste for authority. He claimed that “since the system screwed me, I might as well just screw the system”. Soon after his exile he exacted revenge on his former clan by raiding villages and towns and laying waste to them. But he would make the attack look like an act of his former clan. The neighboring countries again demanded retribution, but when the clan had no excuse, they suffered as the countries revenged the fallen towns. Orgrunt’s clan was forced to flee and leave their territory.

Though his revenge was satisfied, he still believes that the system is worth nothing. He lives by his rules and his alone. Now he lives on Blackrock Spire, living with an orc clan. He lost his liking for towns from a bloody experience he had in Baldur’s gate. No one is sure exactly what happened; but in the end Orgrunt was banished from Baldur’s gate, while Baldur’s gate lost 1/3 of its armed forces and the flaming fist building was burnt to the ground. There is a select group of people who are friends with Orgrunt. Some of the names include Elminster, Gorian, Alexander the Paladin, Thrall, Grom Hellscream, Aris the bludgeoner, and Kadmier: the Dwarven war machine.
